Roary Assembly

Boro mascot Roary The Lion made a return visit to school this week, to celebrate how hard our children have been working to come to school every day and on time, as part of his Class Acts Initiative.  All those children who have had excellent attendance and punctuality since the Class Acts initiative started on 16 October 2017 have been awarded a special certificate, which they brought to the assembly to show Roary!

Roary also came to tell us that he will be giving our school some free tickets to see the Middlesbrough v Aston Villa game on 30 December 2017.  The tickets will be for 3 children, who can each take one adult with them.  In order for your child to be entered into a draw to win one of these tickets, they must be in school every day, on time, between now and the end of term.  Roary also stressed that their behaviour must also be excellent!  Winners will be drawn on the last day of term, so let’s all work together to make every school day count, and be in with a chance of winning this amazing prize!
