Synthetic phonics are taught through a lively and vigorous programme known as Read Write Inc. Below are some quotes from pupils about the Read Write Inc. programme.

We teach Guided Reading using a variety of reading schemes which are levelled to own system. Below are some quotes from pupils about guided reading.

Going up (Narrative text)/ In the home (Non fiction text) are repetitive texts required for emergent readers developing early reading and comprehension skills.
Frog Prince (Narrative, illustrated traditional tale) / Finding things (Non fiction text). These texts are targeted at the developing reader with comprehension becoming more of a focus.
Have you seen an ABC? (Non fiction text) / Volcano! (Narrative). These texts are aimed at the more confident reader, where existing comprehension skills are developed further.
