Yesterday, our Year 3’s and Year 6’s took part in sessions put on by Murton Park. Year 3 learnt more about the Stone Age and Year 6 about the Homefront of World War Two. The sessions were interactive and engaging and the children loved the day!

Good afternoon,
Another week down and another fun one for the children.
We hosted our EYFS sports day on Tuesday, thank you to all of those who came to see the children take part.
Tuesday also saw our year 2 children go on a trip to Guisborough Woods to celebrate the outdoors and link it to their geography work.
On Wednesday, our Year 3 and 4 girls football team took part in a tournament and came in in second place so well done.
Yesterday, we celebrated our Trust Diamond Standards winners. Everyone who had received a diamond standards award throughout the year was invited to an awards ceremony. Well done to Mr Swales who was the overall winner for commitment and to Kingsley who was the overall child winner from across the Trust.
Today our nursery and two year olds went to an Expressive Play Day, our KS1 Boys Football team took part in a football festival and year 4 took part in an art week event in our hall.
All in all, it has been a busy but fun week here in school and outside.
Have a wonderful weekend and we hope to see you next Friday for our 90th Birthday celebration.
Thanks,
Mr Mayle

Good afternoon,
We have had a phenomenal week at Brambles.
Last weekend, 38 children went to Junior Warrior in Leeds. An amazingly experience with plenty of mud, obstacles and running! One of my personal favourite experiences we have taken children on.
On Wednesday, some of our immensely talented children performed Shrek at Middlesbrough Theatre. It was a show to remember and the staff at Brambles are very proud of the effort the children put in!
Today was our KS1 and KS2 Sports Days. These were brilliant events and the children enjoyed all of the activities. Can I just say an extra thank you to Mr Swales for organising such a smooth running event!
Just a quick reminder that our 90th birthday celebration (Summer Fayre) is two weeks today on Friday 11th July. Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks,
Mr Mayle

Today Brambles had the opportunity to attend a workshop with the Dogs Trust. We learned about how we can be safe around dogs following 5 rules. These include leaving a dog alone when it is eating and making sure we are quiet when we are around them so we don’t hurt their ears. We have learned lots today and had fun too.
