Animex Day

The Animex day was a great stimulus for the Y2 children to develop and practise their coding skills to create a short animation.  We used the fun children’s book, The Queen’s Knickers, as a base for our animation.  First, we created a story board to outline the main four events of the narrative.  We then selected a female sprite for the Queen and a male sprite for the butler who searches desperately to find the Queen’s missing knickers trunk. The children loved using Scratch to design their own version of a story that they have loved reading this year.
